Who discommends:
sequel to HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE
Not as good as HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE but worth reading for the reappearance of some favourite characters.--Isabel (31 Jul 99)
Not as good as its prequel but still OK. I would consider this one of her weakest books but she is still worth reading.--Margaret (15 Oct 00)I thought this was a fun book, definitely on the silly side. I wish they hadn't hammered so hard in the advertising/blurb that it was a sequel to HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE. I spent attention looking for that during a lot of the first 2/3rds of the book. When they ultimately reveal how much of a sequel it was, it would have been nice to have been surprised and not relieved. Once again, the romances are a little unbelievable, but since the characters are all larger than life, it's fine.--Rebekah (03 Jul 02)
