Who discommends:
A closely tied sequel to SHARDS OF HONOR. Be prepared for a few tears as Cordelia (and Aral) battle severe disapproval, attempts on their lives, and an unfeeling culture to have their son, Miles. Has an HEA, though you may not always believe it's coming ...--Rebekah
Just finished CORDELIA'S HONOR by Bujold. It is a 2 in 1 volume containing SHARDS OF HONOR and BARRAYAR. Put me down as a recommend - loved both. I really enjoyed the h/h, loved their romance and laughed at the scenes where Cordelia would shock the conservative Barrayans with what she thought of as an every-day-common-sense type of observation.--Shelley
I love these books and they are among my favourites out of the Vorkosigan saga. Cordelia and Aral's relationship is so satisfying! It's a pleasure to see two characters who respect each other from the start and then watch as their relationship deepens. Then of course, there are those last few chapters of BARRAYAR which I cannot resist reading and rereading...--Isabel (31 Jul 99)
These are two of my all time favorites. I love seeing a relationship between mature adults. I also love the way LMB reveals so much with so few words. I'm really looking forward to her A Civil Campaign, which is basically a romantic comedy influenced by Heyer's work.--Shelly (31 Jul 99)
